The High Court issued a Rule Nisi to show cause as to why the respondents shouldnot be directed to protect the historic ‘Ramkha Pond’ in Tangail from encroachments upon the bank and filling up the portion of the pond upon removing all structures for construction of shops, and why they should not be directed to restore the pond and its banks to its original position.
