in 1995 at the initiative and cooperation of the people of the village, a primary school was established at Langalmura of Chagalnaya thana of Feni District. the Thana Education committee cancelled the registration of the school arbitrarily, malafidely, illegally and without notice or without assigning any reason to the school authority. it deprived hundreds of students of 3/4 villages around the school getting primary education. BLAST fied this case challenging the arbitrary decision of the education committee.

Court issued a Rule Nisi calling upon the respondents to show cause as to why the cancellation of registration of Uttar Langalmura Non-Govt Primary School under no 10 Chupul union, p.s. Chagalnaya, dist-Feni vide memo no 291/regi/93/1315/6 dated 02.04.98 (Annexure D) issued by the respondent no 1 should not be declared to have ben made/issued without authority and is of no legal effect and why a direction should not be given to withdraw the said order of cancellation and/or pass such other or further order as to this court seem fit and proper.
