The petitioners challenged contemnor’s willful and deliberate violation of the Hon’ble High Court’s order dated 01.07.09 passed by the Mr. Justice Syed Mahmud  Hossain and Mr. Justice Qumrul Islam Siddiqui  in Writ Petition No. 4456 of 2009 directing the respondents not to make further eviction from Purbo Bahistaki Gudarghat Bosti, situated on Plot No. 6/2, Block-D, Section-17, PS- Kafrul, Dhaka-1216.

The High Court Division issued a Rule upon the respondents contemnors to show cause as to why a contempt proceeding shall not be drawn for violating the order of stay dated 01.07.09 passed by the High Court Division in Writ Petition No. 4456 of 2009 and why  they shall not be punished accordingly.
